Mega thanks for posting this!
For over 30 years Tom DeWeese and APC have been anti-NWO troopers, informing readers better than any other news source about foreign and domestic enemies of USA’s free republic.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA
“Venison chews like bubble gum. It can be done right but very difficult to do.”
If you have venison that is that chewy it wasn’t let hang to tenderize and age. If you cut and freeze a deer without any hang time at all, even a fawn will be like bubble gum.
All meat has to hang for at least 24 hours, any less and it will be too tough to eat. 2 weeks is perfect for aging venison.
“I plan to, just as soon as I finish reading 35 books on how to raise cattle in a small apartment.”
It can be done, but the carpeting won’t last long.
Finally got it. It is the field and stream one found here:
https://www.fieldandstream.com/articles/hunting/deer-hunting/2009/10/how-cook-venison-pumpkin-curry
But you have to have a couple of red stripe beers while savoring!!!
I frequently see calves for sale fairly cheap. It might be time to start building a barn and fenced-in pasture, so I can raise my own.
Until then, lots of deer and rabbits around here.
Thanks! I love habanero but that would be too hot for my wife. I can add the heat to my bowl. Also, the cilantro tastes like soap to my wife. I guess there is a gene that makes cilantro taste like soap to some people.
Making it today
And I had wild duck breast for breakfast this morning.
Carpet is better. Hardwood flooring would get really slippery.
Yes... grew up on venison, partridge, plenty of fish. Can’t stand venison anymore. and my father was an excellent cook.
exactly.. it’s as simple as that.
:)
The first trick is to be sure to remove ALL the Snot from the Snoot. The second is find someone that likes to eat snoot.
Well there are dwarf Cuban cattle but as I recall they are a dairy breed like Jerseys.
cute idea. My kittie may object though
Dexter cattle, the smallest breed of beef cattle. they stand 40” and are 700 lbs on the hoof. perfect for small homesteads 5 acres of good grass is enough for a momma and calf, raise calf to.eating size then off to the freezer. artificially impregnate momma and repeat.
