CNN anchor Chris Cuomo provided an unexpected defense for a physical border barrier during a debate with colleague Don Lemon on Monday night.
Cuomo and Lemon were sparring over whether or not news networks should carry President Donald Trump’s national address live when Lemon accused the president of spreading “propaganda.” “The president will say what he has to say. People will believe it whether the facts are true or not,” Lemon asserted. “And then by the time the rebuttals come on we’ve already promoted propaganda possibly unless he gets up there and tells the truth.”
Cuomo surprisingly responded by defending the president’s right to make his plea to the American people and even knocked the idea that a border wall or barrier is inherently wrong or immoral.
“Wanting barriers along the border is not propaganda. It’s not immoral. It’s not wrong,” Cuomo admitted.

News has become drama and drama is conflict. (Tolstoy: Show me an unhappy family and I will give you a great story.) To generate interest, you must have conflict. They probably flipped a coin to see who would take the pro-wall side.
Cuomo understands this is the issue on which Trump won; it is not the hill to die on, and just bad business for media outlets with no credibility left.

While everybody is yapping back and forth over the wall or barrier or whatever it’s going to be, thousands of intruders are pouring across the border. I refuse to call the illegal aliens immigrants. They are not coming to assimilate and love their new country. If after all this hoopla we end up with a paltry fence and amnesty, I’m gonna blow it. I’ve been fighting against illegal occupation of our country for 30 years and it’s worse than ever. If you think you’re in a safe place in this country and you won’t be affected, just keep whistling past the graveyard. The only thing the powers that be will understand is us getting in their faces and physically throwing them out.

As I've said in other posts, you can use the "street view" in google maps and go to any city in Mexico or South America (that is the ones that are not too dangerous for the google drivers) and what you'll see is walls.. EVERYWHERE.! And lots of concertina wire. But not just walls but also bars on all their windows and doors. Even the poor in Juarez and Tijuana have walls.. They make their walls out of wooden skids and whatever they can find in an effort to keep their neighbor from stealing what little stuff they do have...
It would seem these folk will steal anything that isn't nailed down, including your kids for ransom or whatever..
I don't know about other folks but I sure as heck DON'T want me and mine to live like that... We desperately need a WALL on our southern border so we won't need to wall ourselves up in our own homes..! What a crappy way to live a life...
I have used this line of questioning many times over the years. It is very effective. My former boss (commie through and through) fled my office one time when she realized where I was going with it.
we moved 2300 miles to escape the invasion. it’s still here in our new rural home, but probably 30 years behind much of the country. if allowed to continue, there will be no where else to move to.
I think Cuomo is smart enough to know that the importance of border security is so obvious to most Americans, and opposing it makes Lemon look like an absolute moron.

Surprisingly enough Cuomo has gotten maybe two or three other things right in the past couple of months. Just enough to make me wonder if the yankee jackwagon is getting slightly red pilled.
