If you’re black and don’t much care if the police find who murdered your kid, report the shooter as black, no press coverage, no pressure, and minimal police action.

Report it as white on black crime, and the press and police pull out all the stops. They’ll catch the perp in short order.

Which, I'd like to point out, they did.
