Yeah, there’ll be a dozen in the House and 5 in the Senate.

But not enough, by law, to negate the emergency declaration and deny the powers.

The House will vote to undo it.

The Senate will not.

The declaration and all the assumed powers will remain.

How does a Congressional vote to undo an emergency declaration work? Does it require a simple majority in each chamber? If so, and if 5 GOP senators defect as you predict, won’t the repeal pass?
