Frankly if there are people that think seriously that blacks are intellectual inferior to whites FULL STOP, then you need to take an IQ test themselves so we can have a name and a score to go with the people that are so in love with this topic.

Being a Mensa member (as I have been) should teach you one thing, IQ is a measure of intelligence. It is not a measure of sanity, of decency or of common sense. It doesn’t measure initiative, nor determination.

That’s true as well. Just because one group’s median might be higher than another in some regard does not mean all individuals of the former are higher than all individuals in the latter group. Someone made a comment about smart Jews in one of the posts above. That person has never been to a board meeting at my synagogue, I can promise you that.

There are blacks who are intellectually superior to the vast majority of white people. Clarence Thomas and Thomas Sowell come to mind.

However, the gap between AVERAGE group scores for whites and blacks, in things like IQ tests, SAT tests, and many other tests of intellectual performance, is well documented.

This becomes very relevant when people declare any statistical difference in outcome between races, to be evidence of discrimination. Except when, as in athletics, it favors minorities.
