On Friday The New York Times published the latest Deep State leak that the FBI investigated US President Trump after he fired crooked Director James Comey.

The liberal media wants you to believe TRUMP is a foreign spy and that crooked James Comey is a hero.

The report reveals the Deep State FBI opened an investigation on President Trump after he fired James Comey in March 2017. The investigation was launched based on unverified rumors.

The New York Times admitted in their report that there is no evidence that the Trump campaign EVER had any contact with Russian government officials. The New York Times buried this nugget in the 9th paragraph in their sensational report.

“No evidence has emerged publicly that Mr. Trump was secretly in contact with or took direction from Russian government officials.”

These political operatives leading the FBI should be tried for treason. Their job at the FBI is not to run a coup against the sitting president based on ridiculous rumors. They should be tried and hanged.

What they did is no different than some coup d’état in a banana republic.

It’s time to shut down the FBI.

Doesn’t matter. As president he can direct an investigation to be started or stopped. That is beyond question. Also Comey testified Trump was not a target.
The bottom line, that statement does NOT indicate any crime. The FBI does not have the authority to launch investigations into the presidency on it’s own into the motives of a president.

They are treasonous and tried to launch a coup. They should be executed.

Rosenstein’s memo was NOT contradicted. Rosenstein said why HE thought Comey should be fired. Trump fired him for that and for his other criminal behavior including surreptitiously evesdropping on Trump himself at Trump Tower.

Trump was in no way restricted to the reasons laid out in Rosensteins memo. That might be 5% of his reason. And Trump saying something that rosenstein disagreed with does not justify the FBI starting an illegal investigation.

As informative as this article is (with the help of many Freepers), I think that this situation will only be resolved when the FISA court finally admits that they were criminally manipulated and throws the book at the long list of perpetrators. I agree. In that case, the Lester Holt interview was just a matter of doubling down on stupid. He could have just said exactly what you did, and he would have been 100% right. And at any rate -- why have Rosenstein draft the memo in the first place?

What exactly did Trump have to gain by doing that interview with a mainstream media outlet that every one of his supporters knows is just an enemy tool?

And in all this reporting of timelines and events, especially concerning Comey, I rarely see, even on this thread, the fact the Rosenstein wrote a letter to the President RECOMMENDING he fire the skunk Comey. Has Rosenstein ever testified about why and who else was involved with his “official” advise from the DOJ for the President?

I have found the smoking gun. May 27, 2012 the US President told the Russian President

“After the electiion I have more flexibility.”

He did not tell this to some Ukranian with alleged ties to Russians... Our President said this to the Russian President.

It was 4 years prior to his announced campaign for President. This shows how far back the conspiracy goes and why the FBI is justified in linking events long before he announced his candidacy to subsequent events through nothing other than the calendar.

I'm seeing this idiocy repeated a lot on twitter. The firing of Comey was orchestrated by rotten rod and the corrupt state. Comey's days were numbered and they weren't going to let a good crisis go to waste[launched mueller's special counsel coup]. The only way you could believe the NYT narrative is if you ignore all the spying and 'investigating' by the FBI before Trump was elected. It was simply a continuation of the coup.
