In this instance I disagree. The tweet about Bozo was unnecessary, and the president could actually win over some faint-hearted voters by better choosing his battles.

You should run for President. You know more about it than Trump.

I disagree, DJT May lose a few weak sisters but I think he gains overall. I got really pissed with GW when he wouldn’t fight back. Mess with the bull, standby to get the horn. We ain’t playin checkers.

Jeff Bezos asked for it. Have you read the Washington Post? Their headline on the top of the front page is “Democracy dies in darkness”.

I agree.

Trump is doing a magnificent job as President. Better than ANYONE since Reagan left office, without exception. But at times well... he has a lack of decorum. And he could win over even more people "on the fence" if he channeled more of the statesman that we know he can be and is.

Agree. I’m glad he fights, but this isn’t the fight to bother with.
Bezos, in business, is successful.

Given my ‘middle age’ I’ll probably always be a salaried schmuck so I will probably never be successful.

Fortune favors the bold. Bezos is a robber baron and his paper is engaged in a soft coup against Trump.

I agree. He turns off more people with his immaturity and thin skinned sensitivity. He is not perfect. But he’s got more courage than anyone else in DC.

Why didn’t you run in 2016? You could have easily won over some faint-hearted voters by better choosing your battles.

Its Trump sending a message to Bezos and WaPo - YES, I had a hand in this. Bezos, a very rich man who bought WaPo for political protection. WaPo has been the PR outlet for the Deep State in its attempts to take down Trump, non-stop since 2016. Bezos should be a lot smarter than he was - if you pick fights with people, they may just fight back.

Congratulations to Trump for taking Bezos down in such spectacular fashion.

I agree. Not a good use of his bully pulpit if true. Jeff Bezos is not an issue of national or presidential importance. Also, trying to belittle or denigrate people by calling them names is grade school stuff that can readily backfire on you.

“....the president could actually win over some faint-hearted voters by better choosing his battles.”

LOL! Do you know any faint-hearted voters who have been won over by President Trump?

No. He wins over strong, independent thinking voters - and he does it by calling out Leftists for their divisive race-baiting nonsense - just as he is doing with Pocahontas in this artful tweet.

Faint-hearted voters won’t have the moral courage it takes to support a truth teller like President Trump - but by exposing her shameful pandering with his tweets, he may well embarrass them into turning their backs on Pocahontas when the time comes. That’s what faint-hearted voters do.

If that were so his twitter following would go down

However

Trump Twitter following on 12/18/18 = 56,015,350
Trump Twitter Following on 1/19/19 = 56,746,185
Increase of 730,835 an Increase of 1.3%

In the same period Poccahantas increase was a modest 37,708 at 0.8%

The benefits reaped from Trump’s fighting spirit are vastly greater than any loss of support among the more emotional types.
