A mass drug overdose in Chico, California, Saturday attributed to the opioid fentanyl underscored reports that the dangerous substance drove 2017 statistics showing Americans were more likely to die of drug overdoses than car crashes.

One person has died and 12 people were in the hospital, some in serious condition, after overdosing on substances likely including the extremely strong synthetic opioid, Chico police said according to NBC News.

Fentanyl was concentrated in eastern states when it first came to the attention of law enforcement and public health authorities, but now western states are also seeing its effects.

“We were waiting, and have been waiting unfortunately, for this to happen in the sense that we knew fentanyl had been moving west,” Chico Police Chief Michael O’Brien said according to NBC News.

Save with the border people who have to check packages, luggage etc. And if you’re a nurse carrying Nax, and not an addict, your health Insurance can be affected.

This stuff is destroying not only life, but careers and costing this nation greatly...and it’s just getting started.

(China recalls the Opium wars very well...90% of it is coming in from china thru mexico)

Thanks for the link.

From your link...

....According to the DEA, China and Mexico are the two major sources of fentanyl that enters the United States. Mexican cartels dominate the importation of illegal drugs to the United States, and they have a history of importing methamphetamine precursors from China, synthesizing the drug, and then smuggling it in bulk across the U.S. border. They appear to be doing the same thing with fentanyl today. Yet Mexican-sourced fentanyl is generally of low purity. According to reports from the DEA and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), fentanyl trafficked into the United States from Mexico is, on average, less than ten percent pure. Chinese fentanyl, by contrast, is commonly more than 90 percent pure. We calculate that, adjusting for purity, almost 80 percent of the fentanyl seized by CBP in financial year 2017 was seized at mail and express consignment carrier facilities in shipments of no more than a kilogram. CPB estimates that most of these parcels originated from China.

~~~~~~
There you have it.
1. Find out where Fentanyl is made.
2. Tell the Air Force to level the buildings.
...it's the Democrats, by far, that are the manufactures, the shippers and consumers of narcotics in the US..???
Even if you could back that up with data, which I seriously doubt, there’s no reason to think it would apply to Chico which is fairy conservative and majority Republican.
More to the point, opioid abuse isn’t political. Some of the most affected areas are rural and very conservative. Prototypical Trump country.
In many places it’s the beaten down blue collar workers who have the biggest addiction problems.
Really... Hmmmm, and here I was with the understanding that one of the primary reasons the dimocraps don't want the wall is it would drive up the cost of narcotics...
It's the narcotics that the dimocrap politicians use to sedate their base. Keep them poor, keep them stupid, keep them voting for the free handouts... It's the only they can survive...
Maybe you should raise your head up and have a look around.. Where are the major drug problems in our nation? Allow me to fill you in.. It's in EVERY democratic controlled area in our country... Oh sure, there are some democrats everywhere, but the problem belongs, lock, stock and barrel to the democrat party.. You could look that up if you were inclined to do so..
Where you from.? Berkley.?? :)
Given your other posts I’m not surprised to hear that.
It might have some relevance to pot but most of the fentanyl comes from China and almost 90% of the heroin and fentanyl that comes from Mexico comes through legal points of entry - usually packed with legitimate cargo or hidden in vehicles.
The traffickers would probably love to see resources diverted to more wall construction.
Brandon Darby at Breitbart has done a lot of good work explaining this. You might want to read up.
You could look that up if you were inclined to do so..
I knew you didn’t have any data.
