"NATO must be dissolved and replaced by a collective security system including Russia," Sahra Wagenknecht told Germany's "Funke" media group.

Germany's Left Party has previously called for warmer ties with Russia and scrapping the security alliance.

Didn’t Hitler and Stalin have a non-aggression treat ?? That didn’t work out so well...for either side....similar results this time would not be surprising...

The American people must never again sacrifice blood and treasure to save Europe from themselves. If Trump had not surrounded himself with so many crypto and overt globalists, he would have followed his instincts and disengaged from these debilitating foreign entanglements.

Most of consumer natural gas used for heating homes in the winter in Germany....is Russian natural gas. It’s been that way for over thirty years. Once that decision was made, and the Wall came down...NATO should have dissolved itself over a ten-year period. The Russians are an integral part of the day-to-day life of each German.

All of these Russian Oligarchs (the Billionaire mafia crowd) are only this rich and powerful, because the Germans paid for the natural gas.

I could see a reason for maintaining the US port in Naples, but beyond that....all US troops within Europe should be pulled and brought back to the US.

Oops! No wonder it kept saying ‘future US President’s comments!’ ...I misread the date, but it came up on the news section regarding Germany/France enthusiasm for European coalition for security to counter U.S.

So the sentiments have only grown stronger.

And America’s response should be?

PLEASE let us continue to defend and control your country, and continue to pay for NATO?

No not at all, but to develop closer economic/political/sometimes military ties to our ACTUAL allies in the region. (Like Poland.)

Win win...Move troops out of Europe, put them on the border and use the saved dollars for the wall...I like it.

Yes. Poor Poland. They are once again finding themselves in a very familiar historic, geo-strategic situation - caught between a Russia and Germany starting to play footsie with each other.

Sh*t like this makes me rethink why in Hell did America ever bother to save Europe THREE times (if we include the Cold War)!?
