President Trump, DECLARE THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY AND START THE WALL. Where’s his supposed “three-dimensional chess” strategizing? It isn’t even “follow the dots” to realize that funding the wall where the emergency is greatest forces the maniacs to the table and puts them in a position of having to negotiate to have less wall instead of more!
They should all be asked if they will donate their pay (like President Trump) to a charity while the shutdown continue ues
Public service has come to mean that the public exists to service its servants.
Do not let them back in.
Some animals are more equal than others.
And they essentially all come out millionaires.
Legalized thieves, all.
Thanks for posting.. The chaplain makes 172Thousand dollars a year? Who is this guy? I mean, what denomination is he with? Besides the self proclaimed church of the ruling class?
I expect this from the others. They are exemptocrats.
Public servants soon become public masters.
#RulingClassPrivilege
could’nt give a rip, personally, about how much they’re “paid”
What We the People need to know is how a Congresscritter becomes worth $129 million dollars (Pelosi)on a career of 180-200K.
That kind of info would be worth a lot to all the rest of us of us!!
BTW -you can bet what’s going on down in PR has something to do with those kinds of “opportunities”
Replace them with elephants and donkeys (too many a$$es there already):
1. Saves a lot of money to build the wall.
2. Noise pollution is significantly reduced.
3. The mess is a lot easier to clean up.
Too much! Especially for part time work!
Very nice, but don’t forget the perks. They have voted to give themselves special privileges that you and I don’t have.
The fact is, a lot of them marry money, like Pelosi, or had money from a prior career.
The truth is its hard for someone to run and win a campaign without money and some degree of financial security.
Of course there are exceptions, like AOC, but theres a reason so many politicians are successful business owners or lawyers.
This is the product of 2 minute google search, actually. Evidently, even 60 minutes couldn’t let this go
In 2011, 60 Minutes aired a phase referred to as Pelosi Insider Trading. The episode detailed the Pelosis involvement in preliminary public choices whereas having inside info. In a single instance, the Pelosis profited from an IPO from Visa whereas laws on bank card corporations have been being thought-about in Congress. This was not unlawful on the time.
Insider trading on the stock market. If you are a member of Congress, those laws are deemed not to apply, The Hoover Establishments Peter Schweizer advised Newsmax. The fact is, if you sit on a healthcare committee and you know that Medicare, for example, is is considering not reimbursing for a certain drug thats market moving information. And if you can trade stock on off of that information and do so legally, thats a great profit making opportunity. And that sort of behavior goes on.
The Pelosis participated in six IPOs, in accordance with 60 Minutes.
Just simply marrying a congresscritter would appear to pay off!!
Now, lets add in the value of their gargantuan benefits.
Or in the basement counting the freezer money.
