Biden would be 78 when taking the oath of office. He already has moments of confusion and he has had two brain surgeries. He could not possibly campaign like Trump. Plus he has already run for president at least twice and received very few votes.
Clearly several moderate dems want to have a moderate in the white house. They are totally forgetting that Biden is in fact an old white male which most of his party hates. That goes for Bernie as well. But at least Bernie is a crazy socialist who can campaign. Biden’s backers like him because he is a moderate. And so he is not likely to get enough votes from his own party.
Expect Beto to be the nominee. He is totally unknown and is a good looking 40 something which is what all the Democrat Presidents since Kennedy have been except for Johnson. And Johnson had to withdraw when 40 something Robert Kennedy joined the campaign. Democrat and Independent women vote for the best looking male. They don’t care how smart or how much experience. He just has to be attractive.

One problem for the Democrats - they have only several moderates in the entire party. A handful at most.
I honestly can not name one moderate Democrat. Maybe Zell Miller of Georgia but he's been out of politics for some time. Earlier there was Scoop Jackson but, Jim, he's dead.
