Whatever Team Mueller’s motives might be here, this is a HUGE smackdown to Buzzfeed and the Mediascum.

This article was a variation of; “When Hearst Artist Frederic Remington, cabled from Cuba in 1897 that “there will be no war,” William Randolph Hearst cabled back: “You furnish the pictures and I’ll furnish the war.”” BuzzFeed tried to furnish the impeachment, but time has moved on and the public is less excitable. Other news agencies are very excitable and eager to pile on to furnish the impeachment. However, Mueller has strict legal criteria by which he impeaches the president. It can’t be an attempted lynching, which is what BuzzFeed was trying to do. Failing to quell Buzzfeed’s lynching would have been the surest way for Mueller’s efforts to come crashing down. Therefore, he quelled.
Mueller is trying to make it look like his folks aren’t periodically leaking fake crap to make Trump look bad because they have nothing to show for their efforts.
