Trump plans to make Democrats an offer to end shutdown, not declare national emergency

President Donald Trump plans to offer Democrats another proposal to end the shutdown when he addresses the nation from the White House on Saturday afternoon -- what officials are describing as his third offer to end the shutdown, according to a senior administration official.

The official told CNN that Trump's idea is to put something on the table to get Democrats to engage with negotiations. Trump is not expected to back down from his demand for a border wall, but the plan will seek to entice Democrats by offering other concessions.

He's going to make a nice reasonable offer anyone should accept then the communist Rats will poo poo it making them look like the meanies who stole the little girl's candy at Halloween and killed babies at the border.

It's so easy to make the commie dems look bad. They do most the heavy lifting themselves.

I mean seriously. Is there anyone who could possibly mistake either of these two as good people?

DACA amnesty.

Javanka and McConnell were involved in crafting this proposal. It’s DACA, IMO. 100%.

“What happened to all the last caravan? How many did finally get in? They need to fix it so anyone who crosses, is sent right back into Mexico.”

The last caravan has basically all crossed into the USA by now. A small fraction were apprehended and deported, but most applied for asylum and were released into the country. They just spread out and crossed in smaller groups - like the April caravan did, and like the normal weekly flow does. Typically, 1,500 - 1,700 are apprehended per day.

80% of those apprehended are now “family units” with children, who serve as their protection against detention.

It shows that to really address the problem, the President (we) need immigration law reform from Congress, in addition to wall funding.

Amnesty reform, an end to chain migration and the lottery are needed, as well as infrastructure, technology and people for securing the border. It would really require a huge deal, that would be harder for Dems to agree to, then having all their teeth pulled.

If it’s amnesty for DACA, we’re screwed.

POTUS already offered a limited DACA in exchange for four key points and the Dems turned him down just last year.

Trump could’ve built the wall without dealing with the treasonous dems. This will be a HUGE defeat.

He couldn't because of Ryan and McConnell and the Deep State sabotaging him so he had to prioritize on other issues.

What are RIFs? I wish people would stop assuming that everyone knows what the initials stand for?

What comes to my mind regarding wall-building and the kind of people who hate to see them built is the story of Nehermiah in the Bible, wqho stirred the people up to builds the wall back up that protected Jerusalem and the Temple for over 400 years, until the Roman aggressors once more cast it down and scattered the jewish people.

There are three things that stick out regarding the episode.

(1) The local settlers who were immigrants to fill the couontry after the 10 Northern Israel tribes were conquede and dispersed, cetainly did not want the Jerusalem wall built, and they hindered it every way they could.

"But it came to pass, that when Sanballat heard that we builded the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews" (Neh 4:1)

"And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease" (Neh 4:11)

(2) The returned owners who had come back from exile were stirred up by Nehemiah to cooperate and set aside their differences, to get the job done ASAP; and they kept their fighting tools in one hand to defend each other while they had their building tools in the other.

"And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work" (Neh. 2:18)

"And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah. They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon" (Neh 4:16-17)

(3) The individuals who could benefit the most were to lazy to even help out, just sat on their cans while those unable to hire bodyguards and needed year-round protection of the walls finished the job:. To wit:

"And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their Lord" (Neh 3:5)

"And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing to answer" (Neh 5:8)

Isn't that the limit?!

Our "nobles," the Congresscritters, won't put their shoulders to their work and get the funds passed to build the wall so we can be safe. They are on the side of the alien invaders, not you and me. Thanks for Trump's determination! Let him hold these partyhearty critters' feet in the fire!

Trump expected to offer to recommend to prosecutors a 10 year reduction in Hillary’s sentence when the time comes if Pelosi will negotiate in good faith.

Did anyone hear the Republican from Texas who has the district from San Antonio to El Paso speak? He formerly had a national security related government job and he said there were far more effective and cost effective ways to provide national security than just building a wall along the entire border. Most drugs come in from regular points of entry, for example.

Trump’s been good but apparently isn’t aware of the coup all around him. The dark state is just a mirage.
