In one minute, I found a CNN interview of one of the Buzzfeed authors, Cormier - and he says - our sources, he calls them “officials,” are fully 100% read into the Special Counsel Investigation.
Get that, two “Officials” in the Special Counsel Investigation per one of the authors of the piece, speaking on CNN.
The Talking Heads trying to conjure some other meaning are lying through their teeth.

No, not for a couple of decades now. Professional journalism in the US is all but dead, you have to go to the UK to find editors who insist upon coherent writing and competent (if flawed) reporting about the US. Sad.
