Dear Mr. President,
You cannot make a deal with Satan or his pit of vipers in the congress.
Period.
If you cave on this you will be a one-term president.
The democrats will not come your way to accept your offer no matter what you offer. They sense weakness on your part and they're going to go for your jugular.
They couldn't care less about the out of work government workers. This is a sledge hammer they intend to use on you no matter what.
The only way you can win in this situation is to stand your ground. We the people have your back.
If the democrats refuse to budge, then you will have to secure the border any way you can without them. Use the military to beef up and secure the most vulnerable sections of the border.
Let the government stay shutdown until hell freezes over if necessary.
NO AMNESTY (comprehensive immigration reform)!!
If you let the democrats and RINOs badger you into approving amnesty, you WILL lose your base and you will NOT be reelected.
You have already saved the country several times over and you will go down in history as the greatest president ever, IF you do NOT cave on this!!

I meant to say it is not amnesty (rather than asylum... got my mords wixxed up). Some might consider it amnesty, but to me the critical factor is whether citizenship is being offered. A path to citizenship is not the same as citizenship. It means there are stipulations like clean criminal backgrounds and work history, maybe military service.
Green cards and Social Security numbers mean they can legally work and pay taxes, but not vote.

If Dems ever get the Senate AND the White House in two short years, which is possible with a corrupt media, voter fraud and compromised voting supervision in purple states, why they could halt wall construction on Day One, even cancel the expenditures entirely and return to the budget, and order demolition. Reverse everything Trump did. They WOULD DO THAT!
However, on the other hand DACA and TPS Amnesties would be irreversible. The Courts.

It’s simply not going to happen. So you do the next best thing, you take the issue, and the votes, away from the democrats! You do that by creating a DACA citizenship pathway, and tell those people “remember who did this for you, remember it wasn’t the democrats”. Trump’s approval is already going up in that demographic.
Also means they can have social benefits like welfare as soon as they pay one nickel in taxes.

Yes...The SES and the rest of the swamp are in for a RUDE awakening. Beginning Monday will be day 30. Within a few days a plan will be submitted (as required) and the RIF’s will commence within 30 days of that.
One thing people forget about Trump. He dot’s the I’s and crosses the T’s. He is meticulous about it, and the democRATS will rue the day they began this showdown. When hundreds of thousands of them who are democRAT operatives are RIF’d and have to find jobs in the private sector, where they will find themselves most unwelcome, and unwanted.

Trump just offered three years of work permits and social security numbers. He did not promise amnesty and that is still a chip for later negotiations.
