Britain’s political system has been thrown into chaos as the country negotiates a messy divorce from the European Union. Under President Donald Trump, the United States is imposing trade sanctions on friend and foe alike, and the government is paralyzed by a partial shutdown that forced Trump and a high-level U.S. delegation to cancel the trip to Davos.
French President Emmanuel Macron is sinking in the polls as he contends with “yellow vest” protesters. Nationalist political movements are gaining strength across Europe.

Speaking of Jimmy the Dhimmi Carter, is it just me or is he even more out of the public limelight than Joan Ruth Bader Ginsburg? I haven’t seen either of those two for more than a month. Are we certain both of them are not DEAD?

On January 25, a year ago, some sixteen members of Europe’s top corporations met with Donald Trump at Davos. These moguls together (including Adidas, Siemens, Bayer, etc.) promised to invest billions of dollars in the American economy. It is to be hoped that some enterprising journalist follows-up on their pledges.
