I got divorced in the sixties in Texas, before no-fault divorce. My wife’s complaint was that I came home from work and sat on her stomach. Heh. I signed the paper.

Never is when you hold public office. We had a bright, young up-and-coming GOP county commissioner here named Diana Irey. She went through an ugly and highly publicized divorce which unfortunately appears to have derailed her drive for higher office.
