Not a crisis. The HoR grants or denies permission for the President to enter and address the assembled body.

A written or verbal SOTU given from time to time is the only specification.

She can do this, her perogative. Trump can simply submit a written SOTU to the assholes and then set up a mass rally to present it directly to the people, daring the media to NOT cover it.

Winner all the way around.

No he should NOT submit a written SOTU

Do it in the Senate or a huge stadium

Call it the State of The Union address

If Pelosi wants a written STOU have the address transcribed and sent to Pelosi.

Or he could say he wants to give her a copy in person.

May I please have a hall pass Queen Nancy of Napa?

He should give the SOTU in a large venue public address and THEN send it in writing the next day to Congress.

Don’t give it to the Dems in advance where they can pick it apart and spin things for their rebuttal.

“The HoR grants or denies permission for the President to enter and address the assembled body.”

Nobody doubts that she can grant or deny her permission - all that means is that the POTUS will be doing it without her permission.

Come on, folks. This is ludicrous - the President of the United States being denied entry to the Capitol building?
