Ocasio-Cortez invokes Bible in response to White House on climate change

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y) on Wednesday responded to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders telling her to leave climate change up to a “much higher authority” by invoking the Bible.
While not quoting specific verses, the freshman lawmaker invoked scripture in defense of her impassioned pleas to address climate change.
“Genesis 1: God looked on the world & called it good not once, not twice, but seven times,” she tweeted. “Genesis 2: God commands all people to 'serve and protect' creation.”
"Leviticus: God mandates that not only the people, but the land that sustains them, shall be respected," she added.
“You shouldn’t need a Bible to tell you to protect our planet, but it does anyway," she wrote in a follow-up tweet.

The lawmaker appeared to be paraphrasing a Relevant magazine article from last year titled, "Stopping Climate Change Is a Part of Following Jesus." The article included adapted translations of specific biblical passages.

When a lib quotes the Bible, you can bet it’s to argue on Satan’s behalf.
Leftists are allowed to say God and use snippets from the bible when using our own virtue against us. It’s one of Alinsky’s rules. The devil is also very good at twisting God’s words to sow seeds of doubt. IMO, he was the left’s teacher in these ways of deceit and treachery.
Ask AOC if she really believes in the bible, and if so, have her explain the part where the bible says, “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.” and ““A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.” It seems that if she truly believes the bible and is lecturing the right about not following it, maybe she should look at her support of the entire LBGTQ way of life. My gut tells me she is just a mouthpiece for the puppet master. Her background does not get her where she is today without the help of someone pulling strings.
Sanders and Trump should respond with just that.
The resulting fireworks should be fun.
Are they going to set up a debate on national TV in which Ocasio-Cortez confronts Rev. Franklin Graham?
Does she think he will end up sputtering and saying “I give up” and watch him leave the podium in disgrace?
Never happen.
The Democrats will be apoplectic.
We can dream.
Good also told us to be fruitful and multiply. He did not specify windmills.
God told us, but He also is Good.
The Democrat party even voted to take “God” out of their platform.

Amen brother. Just finished Sunday school class on Genesis myself. Could not recall anything in chapter that she refers to so I gave it a quick read again and the serve and protect phrase ain’t in the NKJV.
