If 30 House Democrats signed a request to Pelosi to meet the President, then those people could vote for the wall. Add that to the Republicans and Pelosi’s shutdown is toast.

Further, Nancy is going to pay a big price as this shutdown continues to bite. Her party is increasingly divided, and recall that she only got her speakership by one vote, IIRC. The President can now furlough thousands of federal do-nothings. They are not going to be happy about that, and since they are almost all Dems to the last one, they cannot hurt Trump.
