State hospitals were places of horrors. What a great place for monsters to have easy access to those we have thrown away.
Big biz rehab programs are kept honest because they have a bottom line. Unless they are corporate cronies.
I find it difficult to advocate fore move government institionalization.. it is most certainky never xheap.
Psychologically where is the line between mental illness and criminal behaviour.
The libs can find mental incapacity in all kinds of criminal activities. Are serial killers staying in a state hospital?

Lots of those who can be out okay if properly medicated are out and not taking their meds. It does cost innocent lives.

We swung the pendulum too far 40 years ago and need to swing it back. I think there are those who can be out if monitored and taking their meds under supervision—but who need to be separated from society if/when they so refuse.

Unfortunately, since Jared K. got Obama’s prison reform bill through Congress, there will also be more dangerous people out on the street earlier.

We pay the private rehabs with tax money already....and the recidivism rate is high...drunks and druggies in criminal jail do no better than the mentally Ill who used to be in State Hospitals...so we pay and pay and pay...but criminal jails are not for drunks and druggies or the mentally Ill....the monster is private jails..if you ever looked into this type of thing.
