I am certainly upset that Obama set the Middle East on fire with his "Arab Spring".
I am certainly upset that Obama and Clinton deliberably destroyed the Quadaffi regime in Libya, when Quadaffi was becoming a fairly reliable ally instead of a reliable enemy.
I am certainly upset that Obama and Clinton policies resulted in millions of Muslims being invited to and invading Europe.
All of the above come directly from the Obama regime and his foreign policies.
The U.S. spent decades convincing Saudi Arabia that when we treated with them, we were reliable.
President Obama destroyed much of that.

Saudi Arabia wanted us to go to war against Syria. For all his failings, Obama disappointed them on that, thank goodness

He said that the late Saudi King Abdullah told Obama in their last phone call that I did not expect that [after] this long life, I would see [the day] when an American president lies to me,... and a fellow Muslim, to boot.

The mess in the Middle East is the result and responseability of the people who populate the Middle East.

Only 20 years. The POS was able to set race relations back 60 years with the help of Eric Holder and Al Sharpton.

He said that the late Saudi King Abdullah told Obama in their last phone call that I did not expect that [after] this long life, I would see [the day] when an American president lies to me, according to the Jerusalem Post. Hell, the bastard lied to the American people on a regular basis. What made him think Obama would be honest with him?

Its one time Im glad Obama broke a promise. We didnt need to have a regime-change war against Syria. If the Saudi family want to take out Assad, they should do it with their men and money, and stop trying to pressure US to do their will

As an example, bin Sultan cites Obama’s opposition to Iran and public promises to curb Iranian activities, yet later he ignored the Saudis and negotiated the nuclear accord with the regime, cementing a deep mistrust with the Obama administration. I did not see *any* promise to go to war with Syria mentioned in the article.
You focus on that non-statement as if the article is centered about Obama promising the Saudi King to go to war in Syria.
That is not what the article is about.

Guess you skipped over the first sentence of the article

Guess you skipped over the first sentence of the article Trump promised, and retaliated, and did not go to war.
Obama promised, did not retaliate, and had troops there as much as Trump.
The first sentence does not show President Obama promising to go to war with Syria.
