Amen to this good news.
“The shooting erupted after a group of about a dozen members of the Houston police narcotics unit responded to a residence they suspected was a hub for drug dealing”
About a dozen police?
Wasn’t there over 20 police and armored vehicles involved in the recent arrest of Roger Stone?
Dennis Tuttle, 59, left and Rhogena Nicholas, 58, were identified as the suspects. (Houston Police Department)

Cop story doesn’t add up. Supposedly heroin dealers, but no heroin found on the residence.
I wonder if it is a no-knock raid gone wrong, scared citizens thinking it was a home invasion, and a lot of blue on blue fratricide.
Something about this whole deal smells.
I hope I am wrong, but another article, giving more details, said the police forced the door, and the first officer in shot the dog.
Then the husband (58 years old) shot the officer. The claim is the wife (59 years old) then "reached across the down officer for his shotgun" as they shot her.
So, where is the need to "breech" the door a second time?
This story is rapidly unraveling.
The Texas Rangers should be investigating this shooting.
So far, it does not look as if either the husband or wife had any prior arrests.
All the officers involved were "undercover" and their names were not given.
A neighborhood drug house with no fence or cameras.
Neighbors report the couple never had visitors. Hard to sell drugs from your house w/o visitors.
Houston Police say it was a neighbor’s tip that led them to Tuttle and Nicholas.
“The neighborhood thanked our officers,” said HPD Chief Art Acevedo. “It was a drug house. They described it as a problem location.”
Neighbors on Harding St. told KHOU 11 News they never noticed suspicious activity.
However, Antu did say, I was wondering how they get their money because (Dennis Tuttle) hasnt worked in a long time.
The suspect’s home is one of few not fenced in and there are no security cameras. “I’ve known them for a while,” said friend Michael Gonzalez. “You could could hang out with them.
Never had any issues with them. And they never had an issue of dope.”
So..... the Houston SWAT/DEA raided the home of a white couple in a black neighborhood who were probably one of the few places where there wasn’t any ‘dealing’ going on, based on the word of someone who got caught with heroin and who told police that is where he bought the heroin ?
