I would believe that, but during a summer heat wave they claim it’s because of “global warming.”

Because it is winter.
That happens every year as the Earth circles the Sun. The upper part of the planet leans away from the Sun, thus creating winter. Depending on the jet stream, etc., some winters are cold; some are mild.
Ironically, the reverse happens when the Earth reaches the opposite side of its orbit. Then, we get summer. Some summers are very hot; some are mild.
It has been doing that since the first full orbit of the Earth around the Sun — a few billion years ago.

Manhattan is no long covered by ice, the woolly mammoth is gone and the ice caps on mars are shrinking. Yeah there has been a warming trend going on for the last 10,000 years but these last 100 years oh its all due to humans. These climatologists are making a mockery of science. More than likely just the opposite of what they are saying is going to happen.
If global warming causes cold temperatures, maybe we should pray for global cooling, so we might get warmer temperatures. Does this make sense? 😁🤣
It isn’t even that. Or not even just that. They enact these treaties to supposedly stop this change or trend, then exempt the countries that are the biggest offenders because the countries aren’t the US. The US is (one of) the biggest offender(s) when it comes to not being socialist. THAT is what is going on here.
People like al gore or Michael mann make predictions (in the next 15 years hurricanes will increase in frequency and intensity, etc.) and when they don’t happen, nothing said. If I saw anything that they say will happen, like a warmer winter or more hurricanes, I might be willing to listen. But there is no current evidence for any of their blather. Show me direct data, like a real temp rise, not speculation that some squirrels somewhere are more uncomfortable.

“Climate change” is consistent with every possible set of observations. It’s a non-falsifiable theory because it predicts everything and therefore predicts nothing.
They used to teach earth sciences.. probably not on the curriculae anymore. not PC enough.

It’s colder because it’s hotter. Sounds like a resonating closed system impacted by solar cycles not MMGW which is in the noise.
CO2 traps heat. Hot air expands, then rises, then releases heat into space, which cools the planet. CO2 is an air conditioner.

Except for THEM and THEIR FAMILIES & FRIENDS, the elites/globalists want earth’s population reduced to UNDER 2 BILLION humans, all of whom would be allowed to live in order to serve THEM.

Do a search on “Solar Minimum”, the lack of sunspots is a symptom of a solar cycle that happens on a regular basis....it will blow the Warmists out of the water.
