“Let me tell you something, it’s not really dysfunction,” Levin said. “It’s the speaker of the House and the Democrats in the House: They have decided they don’t want a wall.”
“McConnell is as power-hungry as Nancy Pelosi. You need to understand this. And he’ll have all the sycophants in Washington, D.C.: ‘Yes, but he got us Kavanaugh!’ He didn’t get us anything. You can thank that Harry Reid. He set the stage for Gorsuch and Kavanaugh’s confirmation. McConnell: What has McConnell done in the zillion years he’s been the leader of the Republicans? He can’t even communicate with the American people. Isn’t it time to put some of these dinosaurs out to pasture?”

Remember when this assclown whined that he could not stop Obama because Republicans only ran 1/2 of 1/3 of the government? I guess Pelosi is just better at her job than he is.

Senator McConnell had enough Republican votes (barely) to confirm Justice Kavanaugh.
But he doesn’t have enough ayes to pass legislation that would approve a barrier on the southern border. And he’s desperately trying to avoid a disastrous vote that would destroy his party.
Ergo, an impasse.

Sen. (Majority Leader) McConnell was almost the last man standing between complete Democrat/Liberal control of the courts. The comments against him are incredibly stupid; no wonder conservatives lose so frequently as they eat their own. Conservative pundits do not run for office, constantly ask for money (they say it’s a livin’, we all gotta eat), and what results do they bring ?
Hah, that’s cool, I’ve heard Mark question Rubio several times now, and I notice that Hannity, Rush and Mark no longer say my good friend, Marco... as if he was ever any of their friends, much less a good one.
My guess is that they found out along with the rest of us and at approximately the same time that the GOP is a bunch of charlatans.
I see no where in the constitution about the 60 vote rule..
change the rules. move on.
Mitch is the reason we didn’t get the wall at the end of lass session.
Concerning the wall, it’s not about the filibuster.
There aren’t 50 Republican senators in McConnell’s caucus that would vote for any type of barrier.
That’s the fact he trying so hard to cover up.
I fear you are right and he is covering for them by not putting them on record.
