I am not a cook but I am a NUT for cooking shows like Chopped, Top Chef, etc. And of course the greatest competition show ever, Cutthroat Kitchen.
I don’t know why I love them. I think it is the depth of knowledge of how so many complex things work together to create a new something.
And I have been able to apply some of what I learned. My knife skills are pretty impressive just from “follow the leader.”
Mrs. Chandler loves to watch cooking shows. When we were first married her specialty was Kraft Macaroni and Cheese with hot dogs. Now her skills are off the charts. When I have a question about cooking I turn to her first.
