I would hire based on his degrees in psychology first, but YMMV. If you can believe what you read, such as the case of Occasionally-Coherent’s degrees in economics and international relations, what’s being minted aren’t towers of intellect. LOL

I get what you say here. But here is the thing... Just because we “don’t see it yet” doesn’t mean they do not exist. If we broaden our objectivity and leave the very same dark ages that held back Galileo and figure on this very real possibility we can jump ahead in understanding. We limit our scope of possibility in both science and faith and it is holding us back.

That’s fine. But the idea that philosophy is dead is imaginary if not deceptive.

Okay. Maybe I should have said it
has outlived its usefulness. Like
learning to use a slide rule.

Not so much gravity but the universal pattern of how negative and positive particles orbit a nucleus and how this pattern repeats it’s self. An atom looks the same as a molecule, A molecule the same as a solar system, A solar system the same as a galaxy, and on and on. I think it is a mistake to think this pattern ends and does not continue.

Of course electromagnetism is involved to keep these in orbital lock and keep them spaced apart. Electromagnetic mass and space that has a repetitive pattern out as far as we can currently see. Most don’t realize that the true mass of a human body can fit on the head of a pin. The rest is space. I think this pattern continues on to the infinite.

Could our personal understanding of this physical space be influenced by our spiritual understanding and awareness? I’m sure of it, but first we must think it is possible. Besides there being more than one universe, could there also be more than one dimension? Sure... We cannot believe in heaven and hell and not believe in other dimensions.

The question is are these other dimensions obtainable while in our current physical form? Or only after we pass and transcend? I can tell you for a fact they can be reached in our current form once understood and enlightened. :)

What universe are you in?

We live in a universe that require us to drill through the suppository of human knowledge, connect the dots, and render a judgment. It would be useful to do it right. But if doing it right doesn't matter, rendering judgments or legislating is more than useless, it will be dangerous.

No, it’s gravitatinal attraction

What do you mean by doing it right?
Doing it logically, yes. Being able
to replicate it, yes. What am I missing?

I’m just curious. Did you write comment number one yourself?

And that is the debate they still have not settled yet. While it could be considered gravity or electromagnetism on the smaller scale, there are larger bodies that still have no gravity. It’s on going...

Computers can almost do that now.

FRiend, I'm not at all closed to the idea, as it's certainly possible.
All I'm saying is that much verifiable data needs collected before 'multiverse' moves from suppositional hypothesis to confident theory.
And since I'm likely to be long gone (at least from this particular life ;-) before then, the outcome simply doesn't matter much to me, not being a theoretical astrophysicist, etc.

What's of much greater importance to me at the moment is whether the plow I just got for my little tractor will help prevent a heart attack and/or freezing my ass off on the 25° slope of this miserable ever-lengthening driveway .. lol!
But if y'all get it figured out while I'm still vertical, maybe someone could ping me ?

Lol... I get it. If we get it figured out we will holler.

Just have faith... Trust... They exist, God is infinite so must be the realm of God...

Logic concerns right thinking; morality and ethics concerns the right conduct. One of them is often punishable.

We agree on that. Which one is punishable?

“the idea that one can dispute a scientific conclusion because there are dissenting opinions out there is the most dangerous one to science in society.”
..........................................

Ah, don’t the “dissenting opinions” themselves dispute the scientific conclusions to which they refer?

I read that Einstein was once asked if he as a pantheist:
Your question is the most difficult in the world. It is not a question I can answer simply with yes or no. I am not an Atheist. I do not know if I can define myself as a Pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. May I not reply with a parable? The human mind, no matter how highly trained, cannot grasp the universe. We are in the position of a little child, entering a huge library whose walls are covered to the ceiling with books in many different tongues. The child knows that someone must have written those books. It does not know who or how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child notes a definite plan in the arrangement of the books, a mysterious order, which it does not comprehend, but only dimly suspects. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of the human mind, even the greatest and most cultured, toward God. We see a universe marvellously arranged, obeying certain laws, but we understand the laws only dimly. Our limited minds cannot grasp the mysterious force that sways the constellations. I am fascinated by Spinoza’s Pantheism. I admire even more his contributions to modern thought. Spinoza is the greatest of modern philosophers, because he is the first philosopher who deals with the soul and the body as one, not as two separate things. Quoted by Peter Hitchens in Modern Age.

Absolutely. There is much we do not understand and frankly may never understand. All we can do is gain awareness and get as close as we can to understanding. It is all much bigger than all of us or our own personal limited doctrines.

We are but infants just learning to walk in the true scope of spiritual reality. There are other realms we have yet to explore. And if we do not dull our awareness with ignorance we can.

The multiverse theory holds that there are many different universes, of which ours is just one, and that each has its own system of physical laws.

Is there one with ponies???

I wanna go there!
