I didn’t run into political hostility in college until a poli-sci course at Georgia State in 1971. Before that I had taught a photojournalism class at SMU in the mid-sixties. The college wasn’t particularly radicalized, but when they went they WENT. I guess that was tipping point time.

You mentioned 1971. Think of how many graduates (and dropouts) have gone through the hundreds of conveyor belt indoctrination factories of the leftist socialist diploma mills (”colleges and universities”) since 1971.
And all at the voting booths to vote in the AOC Green socialist programs now. Miserable.
