ADD the “Progressive Income Tax’ and a ‘Value Added Tax’ (sales tax of 25%)

Sweden taxes individuals heavenly but has very low corporate taxes.
The government returns a lot of this money in the form of services to the individuals, such as health care, education, retirement, welfare etc. It’s a policy that assumes people are generally irresponsible and waste their money on frivolous things, so the government takes a big chunk and provides the basic, important things to all the people.
Meanwhile, the corporations, the goose that lays the Golden eggs, are treated well.
Not necessarily a bad system.
