Interesting that he chooses California as his example for State power.

States do not have rights. They have powers.

California is the worst example because the power it is claiming is the power to destroy the country by allowing and encouraging unlimited immigration.

California is especially concerned that criminal illegal immigrants not be deported.

This is not the will of the Californian people, but of their one-party government, which through control by the media and courts, and massive illegal immigration, has eliminated effective opposition.

Fred says some interesting things.

His selection of California as the poster state to oppose federal power is instructive.

It is interesting that he quotes Robert E. Lee when discussing the issue of States rights. The various States lost their rights as a collective in 1865.

His issue seems to be with the notion of the Supremacy Clause and its usage. The Federal government has the authority to do a great many things and each State has the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. He should pursue this course of action prior to stating that the Constitution is not being adhered to. The War Powers Act gives the President the authority to conduct military operations and it has not been challenged.

His screed against Israel is inappropriate, they do not control the US but we do have similar interests and their continued survival is critical to stability in the ME.

The main take away that I see is this, the States have their Republican form of government but they are choosing to undermine the authority of the US Constitution to the ultimate destruction of the country. All in pursuit of people who wish to make these United States into North Mexico.

The pot is beginning to boil and the frog is still content to sit.

The standing Army of 700,000 is tiny compared to the 300+ million population of the USA. The is assuming no deployments or defections. It’s a paper tiger.

A Modest Proposal for Ending the United States

1) Keep the borders open to import new Socialist voters.
2) Brainwash the young into embracing Socialism through public education.
3) Ban the Right from social media so that they won't be able to try and change their minds.
4) Wait for all the old Conservative fogeys to assume room temperature.

All quite simple actually.
