I used to work for a SWAT team in San Diego and it was a few years ago.

Never once did I hear the motivation for serving a search warrant, and I used to type them, was it for what they would seize.

This is how we deal with that: give it all back, if the original owners are not available, give it to Victims of the Drug War.

Government keeps not a penny.
