Ousting Trump via 25th Amendment is ‘clearly an attempt at a coup d’etat’

Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz on Thursday said the Department of Justices discussions to employ the 25th Amendment to oust President Trump-- if true-- amounted to a coup.
Dershowitz appeared on Fox News Tuck Carlson Tonight, to give his take on former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabes descriptions of Justice Department meetings where he said officials discussed ousting the president.
Evoking the 25th Amendment, Dershowitz said, would a fundamental misuse of its original purpose. It was originally about Woodrow Wilson having a stroke. Its about a president being shot and not being able to perform his office, Dershowitz added.

I remember the epic blowback I got when I first suggested Dershowitz would be a great AG pick for Trump.
Since then he has time and time and time again stuck his neck out to expose the seriousness of these crimes and the need to deal with them, while Sessions abdicated his role and duty.

That’s the $64,000 question. Speculation is GW secretly flipped on the Clinton/Bush cabal to save the Bush clan, and in the bargain agreed to have Barr as the new AG. I really don’t know.

Pence is no Spiro Agnew, corrupt politician from Maryland.

What reason would there have been to remove the President, other than people in positions of power were unhappy with the choice of the American electorate? EXACTLY! Which is why we should NEVER forget - and never let THEM forget that we know it - that they have just as much disdain for the 63 million American voters who voted for him as they do for our pick.

Forty years ago an actual coup attempt was unthinkable. It would have scared Americans to the core. There would have been real investigations, real arrests, and real jail time. Most people no matter what their political affiliation would have condemed this act and demanded accountability.
Today its actually happened and half the country not only does not care, their only concern is that it didnt succeed. Its really hard to see how we ever recover fron this level of lawlessness.
Excellent point.
Also, who would believe wed live in a time where a major political party would not just tolerate illegal aliens but would promote them as better and more worthy to be in this country than Americans.

Hillary slithering around in the fresh air proves none of these vipers will be facing justice.
Rats run free.

True ....... so far. But Hillary smells the stench of her arm pits and of her backed up foul breath every hour of her miserable life. That rat lives in filth and foul morality.
She will get her due later.

It has been unimaginable to me from the beginning that a McCabe or a Comey, or even a Brennan, would take a risk like this without cover of some kind.
Exactly! Who is orchestrating all of this? What motivated all these creeps in positions of power to get on the same treasonous train? They have each other's backs. They certainly don't care what happens to the average person. I'm sure it would blow our minds to know what they are capable of.. and what they have already done behind our backs.

You have to ask yourself.. why do Leftists and Establishment Republicans hate President Trump so much. What do they have to lose? What have they been hiding?

Insider trading is legal for Congress. It was loudly prohibited for a time, but then quietly made legal again.
