#RedforEd: Socialists Organizing Teachers to Turn Purple States Blue by 2020

A well-funded and subversive leftist movement of teachers in the United States threatens to tilt the political balance nationwide in the direction of Democrats across the country as Republicans barely hang on in key states that they need to hold for President Donald Trump to win re-election and for Republicans to have a shot at retaking the House and holding onto their Senate majority.

This teachers union effort, called #RedforEd, has its roots in the very same socialism that President Trump vowed in his 2019 State of the Union address to stop, and it began in its current form in early 2018 in a far-flung corner of the country before spreading nationally. Its stated goals–higher teacher pay and better education conditions–are overshadowed by a more malevolent political agenda: a leftist Democrat uprising designed to flip purple or red states to blue, using the might of a significant part of the education system as its lever.

I am a teacher, and I find this absolutely reprehensible! I actively work AGAINST this type of leftist rot within the school by introducing students to the concept of critical thinking and reasoning. When I hear of idiotic leftist initiatives being foisted upon the education system, I have students evaluate both sides of the argument to realize that there exists a counter perspective that is just as legitimate (if not more so) than the proffered leftist garbage.

It is not much, but I would love if there were more of us (Conservatives) in the education field to lend a helping hand with fighting back against leftist garbage...

Fortunately the nature of children in the young is to rebel against what they’re trying to be indoctrinated into so I think there’s a lot of help I’ve heard from many sources that the new generation coming up is much more conservative

For my two kids here in third in six grade I just give them basic lessons along the lines of well once I believe that the government should be very very large and provide for everything you do everything and tax very high on the other side believe that the government should be very limited and small and just do necessary things and the people should do for themselves and there should be much more freedom

That is about all school age children should be taught they should have their innocence preserved we don’t have any television in my house for example for this reason
