This is how @SenFeinstein reacted to children asking her to support the #GreenNewDeal resolution -- with smugness + disrespect.
This is a fight for our generation's survival. Her reaction is why young people desperately want new leadership in Congress.

The credibility of the entire plan hinges on someone who said the way to solve the deficit is to print more money. Good Lord...she's an Econ major from Boston University! Like someone else said today, she thinks we can land someone on the sun as long as we do it at night.
When Dianne chooses to, she can be very logical and straight forward. The children are indoctrinated little puppets. The ‘teachers’ or aides are acting as the Puppetmasters.

Feinstein, at age 86 I believe, has to try to stay in the Senate for the rest of her life.
Her status there helps insulate her from what imho are the obvious prosecutions and likely imprisonment that would ensue if she lost her official WashingtonDC status

A lot of FReepers are stuck in the past. Obama and Feinstein are total moderates by that party’s standards today.
Poor, sad older rats. They are reaping what they have sown for decades. And they find it is bitter fruit. Not tasty at all. Feinstein was looking at and hearing from her love children, and didn’t like it much.

One suspects that her logic is a performance.
She knows right from wrong, one observes, and chooses deceitfully and dishonestly unless there is a newsworthy benefit to being truthful.
And as far as the AOC new green deal? Might there be a Sovietesque power struggle developing within the Dems?
If so, look for some to be denounced, perhaps asymmetrically and covertly so.
