Less than two hours after crews began demolishing eight prototypes of the president's prized border wall in San Diego, seven of the barriers were destroyed.
A large hydraulic jackhammer attached to an excavator pounded the walls repeatedly on Wednesday as slabs fell into small clouds of dust. Crews had previously drilled small holes in the concrete and stuffed them with grout that softens the cement and makes them easier to destroy.
A panel made of steel poles was also dismantled.

Yeah &? Are they trying to make it seem that walls don’t work? When you have 2 hours to destroy something unfettered, and with the right equipment, it will be accomplished. But people trying to enter this country illegally will not have the resources at their disposal to do it in 2 hours or even 20 days.

It appears that the new wall will be the steel slats and top/reinforced with some flat panels at the top. I was partial to the round pipe on top making it difficult for a grappling hook.
They should have built all the prototypes as part of the real wall. Then, if the illegals manage to get over any one of them, THEN REMOVE IT and replace it with one they can’t get over ! EES BERY SEEMPLE !
The area between these mighty barriers will be wired with stadium lights, cameras, and sensors that will detect any human presence - immediately alerting Border Patrol, who will be able to immediately zoom in a camera to see what they face while dispatching the response.

What kind of ‘grout’ can possibly soften concrete after it’s set? OK, there might be some such thing, but it’s not ‘grout’ in any common form. Anyone know?
The holes are not made to “soften the cement” but rather to control where the cracking and failure will occur.
You stuff a turkey.
