Hey ‘rim. I remember that late December ‘68 reading well, but “Bobby Kennedy was shot the previous night”?? (Or maybe my ancient brain is just not understanding your post correctly?). BK was shot in early June of ‘68.
You are correct...the part of the episode where it came up Frank Borman wasn’t orbiting the moon, he was working up and training for the mission in December, his wife, distraught, called him whereever in the USA he was to tell him the news, which he hadn’t heard either.
