It also kills your engine. Yeah, you would think that after twenty years experience with ethanol, engine manufacturers would learn how to build an engine that could accept ethanol.
But no, they can't.

America runs on corn and petroleum. Corn is everywhere and not only in gasoline. Read a few food labels and see for yourselves. Farming is monoculture and the big crop is corn. The breadbasket has morphed into the corn highway.

We only buy non-ethanol gas, when we have a choice. I think some states have outlawed it, though.

This nonsense has to end. We are not short of oil and the reason for doing this does not exist. Just another reminder it is almost impossible to cut spending and subsidies.
So Trump wants to abolish the Legal Services Corporation, an entity that sued congress to continue its funding and existence. Do it, do it, and with it end base line budgeting, drain the swamp and just do it for God sakes!!!! When will the madness stop?

President Trump needs a vacation. All the vicious attacks and special interests are starting to get to him. A tanned, rested, and ready President Trump wouldn't even have considered this. It was one of his campaign promises, so this should come as no surprise to anyone.

There is one place here in the TX Hill Country which sells non ethanol unleaded. It is four bucks a gallon. Ouch.

I don’t disagree with that, but it was indeed a campaign promise the President made. Back during the early days of the primary it was something we argued over intensely among other things...but this is small potatoes as he did keep his promises on big things like judges...which some of us were not sure of at the time (to put it mildly).
