Meghan McCain attacked “Aunt Becky’s husband” for dissing Arizona State University in the sweeping college bribery scam.
The daughter of late Arizona Sen. John McCain took to Twitter to defend her family’s think tank, the McCain Institute for International Leadership, which has a partnership with ASU.
“To Aunt Becky’s husband who talked s–t about ASU – The @McCainInstitute for International Leadership does incredible work w/ students in cooperation with ASU and I guarantee those students involved will go on to do great things in the world and didn’t have to lie to get there…,” Meghan, 34, wrote on Tuesday, hours after the stunning charges were made public.

Meghan I don’t fault you for defending your POS father. I really don’t. But you must realize you have few allies. The left and right pretty much hate you. So there is no point in defending yourself. We all think you’re guilty regardless.
She ought to be trashing the systems that allow daughters of well connected ‘elites’ to take advantages they should NOT be allowed to take...

Meghan is correct......NO ONE will ever have to cheat to get into her family’s program. It is not prestigious.

I have no idea if the McCain Institute for Leadership is any good, but I do know that ASU used to have very strong music and engineering schools. Some people focus too much on the general reputation of a school when what really matters is the strength of a school in the area the student wants to pursue.
