I adjusted my FR bookmark a while back because it *did* happen. It was the result of a DNS blacklisting; subsequently claimed to be an accident or oversight, but regardless it did happen.

Do you see what the large social media platforms are doing to conservative posters and organizations? They have been censoring them and cutting them off and suspending them.
Now you see the ISPs are saying that other ISPs need to join with them and help them ban content. And New Zealand is reaching out around the world trying to get content banned.
It’s all moving in that direction and Free Republic is right in the group that these others are working at banning right now.
I don’t know how you don’t see that.
That’s why they created the catch all phrase “alt right”.
Any thing they don’t like will be tagged with that phrase and banned.
The topic here is getting URLs banned. Presumably they would block your browser from going to www.freerepublic.com. that is the topic of this thread. The idea being that though it’s not being done now it’s a possibility in the future.
