"Unless such a special counsel is subject to DOJ regulations and oversight, any case that comes from such an appointment would practically be the dictionary definition of a politically-motivated prosecution."

The same DOJ that has been irreparably corrupted by 8 years of the O'muslim usurpation? We couldn't have that, could we? You're beyond help.

Exactly, its over

No obstruction

No evidence

Because you obstruct an investigation that has no crimes

Mueller was trying to leave something for the democrats, and he failed even with that. Barr is right, no obstruction. Because of no evidence of it.

These negative nay bobs are ... are incapable of accepting any good news.

It’s only good news if it plays into their ‘gut feeling’ conspiracies. These people have never seen a cigar that was just a cigar. It’s embarrassing.

“The Special Counsel states that ‘while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.’”

It was never their job to exonerate. The SC’s job was to determine if a crime was committed. No crime? Move on.

“Question: How many people who are singing Muellers praises...”

Only idiots are.

President Trump:
“It began illegally. And hopefully somebody is going to look at the other side. This was an illegal takedown that failed. And hopefully somebody’s going to be looking at the other side.”

Dershowitz just tore into Mueller for taking a Comey like position for refusing to taking a yes or no stand on obstruction. He said it was disgraceful.

Mueller was not charged to investigate any of that. If Russian mickey-mousing around had shown these Russian hackers had specific contacts with Hillary, he would have had a duty to report it but it would not be in this summary unless the contact rose to the level of a crime.

Hillary’s criminality was not even in the purview of Mueller and his 19 Democrat witch hunters.

Back to where we started. The Dems could have this mean anything they want.
Nadler as Humpty Dumpty,
“When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.”

I think President Trump could have done better than guys like Manifort and Stone. Those guys were nothing but problems.

I'd have to throw a flag on that one. If you think for a minute you'll remember Trump was struggling to find any 'professional' willing to work for him.

One of the requirements to charge obstruction is “The defendant had corrupt intent to interfere with or attempted to interfere with the proceeding.”

Barr lays out that without evidence of a crime, there can’t be “corrupt intent”. There may be other instances where corrupt intent can be established without proving an underlying crime, like the obstruction was in the form of a bribe or threat, but not in this case, where POTUS can fire the FBI Director at will.

That said, FEDGOV convicts people for fake crimes all the time, because who can defend themselves against unlimited resources? Evidence the perjury traps and other “process crimes” throughout this circus.

There you have gone and done it — You posted the actual letter in full.

This is really going to reduce the inane, stupid and half baked comments and posts on this thread. How utterly against our fine traditions can you be — geeze.

“The SC’s job was to determine if a crime was committed. No crime? Move on.”

Actually, the special counsel was illegitimate from the get-go. There was no crime in which to appoint one and certainly not on a duly elected President of the United States.

IOWs, the Mueller ‘investigation’ is the CRIME. A CRIME backed by the corrupt state, both parties, and the fakestream media. A massive conspiracy of high treason.

Not within his charter; you are correct. However, if in the course of his defined investigation he discovers evidence of other crimes, he must pass that evidence on to other investigators. IMO, he did just that.

Some of that material may be still before grand juries, hence the lengthy description of why Barr cannot yet release everything.

People will be shocked when everything becomes public.

My underlying point is Hellary’s criminality was all around Mueller’s “investigation”.

Even Ray Charles could see it...and he’s blind and dead.

Of course, Mueller’s #2 priority was to keep focus on Trump and away from Hellary.
