They want two years worth of registration money sooner, like the first two-years-at-once shot will get them. They have a lot of political capital to spend in the next 15 months.

now that’s a sly way to increase fees. Placate the public with an enticement to only pay every other year.

In AZ we have a choice to renew for 1, 2, or 5 years. I like having this choice.

Since I don’t have your login name or password it didn’t log in, but I can’t view the story either.

Anyway it appears to be an effort to reduce congestion at the DMV, not a mandatory increase to two-year registrations.

Here is the problem. Ca fees are outrageous to begin with. To have to come up with two years worth at a time you might have to go get a loan.
