I never believed the “Sessions is our secret weapon” story... and since we’ve now been told that Mueller reported to both him and Rosenstein that his investigation was done months before the election... and Sessions allowed him to sit on it through the election... I believe it even less.

Sessions was a disaster.

If I’m not mistaken, AG Barr Just met with Huber a week or so ago.

Huber is vice chair of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee. He's supposed to meet with the AG.

It’s interesting how there haven’t been any leaks.

There's nothing to leak.

This. Meetings have no meaning in and of themselves. I’ve sat through enough of those to know that.

He was a huge disappointment and surprisingly weak. What a let down he was, for sure.

It’s obvious.
Please point to the evidence he’s doing anything.

When congress does hear from Huber then I believe their are going to be a lot of congress critters that are not going to be very happy about it.

Huber was named to an AG advisory board (AGAC) about the time Sessions ‘appointed’ him. That committee has met with the AG at least as recently as a couple weeks ago.

The AGAC has been around for over 40 years and has nothing to do with Huber's direction to review Congressional concerns.

People need to realize that Huber's role in this investigation does not include the ability to indict, subpoena, compel testimony, issue search or arrest warrants, or any other law enforcement powers outside of his jurisdiction in Utah. He can only investigate and provide a report to the AG.

It would be incredibly unusual for Congress to hear from a US Attorney in such circumstances.

That’s what the AG and DAG are for.

Sara Carter and John Solomon were on Levin’s show on Sunday. They said they had found some important information a while ago, and mentioned it publicly. They got a call from Huber’s office requesting a copy. Huber was told he had received the information about six months prior. Basically, the common belief is that Huber is doing nothing — that his “investigation” is a placebo to make people think there’s something going on when there isn’t.

Everyone should see a re-run of that Levin show.

Us attorneys generally investigate crimes and civil matters in their JUDICIAL DISTRICT. Expect to hear any day now” nothing found here”. If this were a serious note investigation there would be a special prosecutor or counsel.

Poor lazy public servant appointees like Huber should not be allowed to keep their government jobs. Trump should unceremoniously fire the guy and cite the reason for his firing as lack of performance.

Huber is not investigating, he is prosecuting. What is he prosecuting? We shall have to wait for DOJ IG Horowitz’s second report to find out.

For those paying attention we were made aware of the other ongoing investigations months ago,

Some just choose to believe that cause nothing has leaked nothing is happening.

So who do I trust more our favorite troll or our favorite president?

So let’s see what Trump has said what will Trump do?

https://nypost.com/2018/11/28/trump-threatens-to-declassify-devastating-docs-about-democrats/

The commander-in-chief said he could declassify FISA warrant applications and other documents from Robert Mueller’s probe — and predicted the disclosure would expose the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign as being in cahoots to set him up.

++++++++++++++++

Why has he waited?

https://nypost.com/2019/03/26/trump-ready-to-declassify-everything-from-russia-probe-graham/

“Yeah, I think he’s ready to declassify everything, but you know, we want to make sure we don’t reveal sources and methods,” Graham said Tuesday.

In November, Trump told The Post he was waiting for an opportunistic time to drop them.

When Hannity asked Graham if more of this information should be made public, the senator answered that he planned to use “every tool available to me” and “disclose as much as I can.”

“I would like to hear what the intel people say,” Graham told The Post Tuesday when asked if he thought the president should go ahead and declassify the documents now that special counsel Robert Mueller has completed his investigation.

“What I’m going to do is put Mueller to bed here, I’m going to call [Attorney General William] Barr, I want to have a brief about the Mueller report, and then we’ll move to this other stuff.

+++++++++++++++

But why wait, I WANT IT NOW!!!!

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2019/03/28/trump_on_fisa_warrants_i_have_plans_to_declassify_and_release.html

SEAN HANNITY, FOX NEWS: Mr. President, Do you have plans to release those FISA applications, Gang of Eight information, the 302s of Bruce Ohr and others, and the five buckets are John Solomon and Sara Carter, as they call it?

PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP: I do, I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release. But I have some very talented people working for me, lawyers. And they really didn’t want me to do it early on.

Devin Nunes, by the way, and Meadows, you look at Jim Jordan, and all of the people, they worked so hard. And a lot of people wanted me to do it a long time ago. I’m glad I didn’t do it. We got a great result without having to do it but we well.

One of the reasons that my lawyers didn’t want me to do it is they said, if I do it, they will call it a form of obstruction, so they will say, oh, you released these documents so we would make all of this information transparent. You know, and politics you always hear transparency. It would make it transparent. And then they call it obstruction, knowing the people we are dealing with.

So, frankly, I thought it would be better if we held it to the end. No, but at the right time, we will be absolutely releasing it. I did the right thing by not doing it so far.

But you understand, they would call it something that it wouldn’t be.

++++++++++++++++

WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/devin-nunes-submitting-criminal-referral-against-fbi-doj-over-russia-fiasco

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said Thursday that he’s ready to submit criminal referrals to the Justice Department, and accused the FBI and DOJ of making false claims while investigating alleged Trump-Russia collusion during the 2016 Election.

“The FBI and DOJ falsely claimed that this investigation didn’t begin until late July,” he told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo. “We now know for certain that that’s not true. We are still trying to get to the bottom of that. Of course there’s still documents that need to come out.”

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Other ongoing investigations

JORDAN: I’m more concerned about why Mr. Rosenstein didn’t give us the information when he first got it. It seems to me
he should have

Let me go to something else here. How many different investigations do you have going on right now? Are you looking at — you’re looking
at Mr. Comey. You’re looking at FISA — official abuse of the FISA court process. And are you looking at the leak issue with — with the FBI? Are you — have (ph) you got three other ones going on?

HOROWITZ: We’ve got lots of investigations going on, but it’s...

JORDAN: Well I know, but relative to this stuff — I know you’ve got lots, but...

(CROSSTALK)

HOROWITZ: Yes, we’re looking at the leak issue, as well. That’s ongoing.

JORDAN: So all three of those...

HOROWITZ: Remain ongoing.

(CROSSTALK)

JORDAN: ... within ongoing investigations, right? Do you
— do you have any idea when — I’m particularly — well, I’m interested in all of them, but I’m particularly interested in the FISA — potential abuse of the FISA process. Do you have any idea when that one will be complete?

HOROWITZ: I don’t, Congressman. In part — as you know, a few weeks ago we were asked to broaden that and look at some additional information and issues.

JORDAN: Do you anticipate it taking 18 months, like this Clinton investigation one (ph) did, Mr. Horowitz?

HOROWITZ: I don’t anticipate it. But let me just say, if we had released this report in January, you would not have most of these text messages.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Exchange starts at about 11 minutes 45 seconds

Two theories of Huber?

One theory will work just fine.

Namely - Huber and DOJ Inspector General Horowitz were both appointed by Barack Obama.

ZERO Democrats voted against Huber when Trump re-nominated Huber for U.S. Attorney in Utah.

Horowitz was appointed IG by Obama in 2012. Horowitz worked in the Bill Clinton DOJ for Clinton's entire term.

I don't think the DOJ-IG job requires Senate confirmation, so Trump just left Obama’s Inspector General in place.

What could possibly go wrong? LOL!

Re: None of this would be happening were it not for Sessions’ betrayal — of Trump, the nation, the nation’s history.

I completely disagree.

Trump could have fired Sessions and withdrawn the Rod Rosenstein nomination 60 seconds after Sessions recused himself.

Instead, Trump did absolutely nothing.

In fact, Trump is still doing nothing.

Anyone seen the totally corrupt FISA warrants that Trump promised to release months ago?

Trump could declassify and publicly release every document generated by the Mueller investigation.

Let the voters read the evidence and decide who is guilty, and who is not.

Instead, Trump does nothing.

Proving a negative is a difficult if not impossible request.

This is the guy I'm surprised is still alive:

Victoria Toensing, a former Justice Department prosecutor and now a private lawyer, represents a whistleblower against the Clinton Foundation. The witness, Doug Campbell, is an FBI informant who says he has evidence that Mrs. Clinton helped a Russian company obtain U.S. uranium rights in exchange for large donations to the foundation, known as the Uranium One scandal.

Although the Uranium One allegations are within Mr. Huber’s purview, Ms. Toensing has heard nothing from him. She has not reached out to Mr. Huber but said he should have contacted her within the first two months of his investigation.

“It is head fake, a farce,” she said of the Huber investigation. “It was an attempt by Sessions to get Republicans off his back. I’m embarrassed for them because they fell for it, and I hope something happens now.”

“Trump could have fired Sessions and withdrawn the Rod Rosenstein nomination 60 seconds after Sessions recused himself.”

Nope. Senator Grassley informed Trump that he would not allow Trump to nominate another Attorney General if he fired Sessions. Rod Rosenstein was Sessions choice. Trump knew nothing about Rosenberg.

The warrior Republicans in Congress were working with the democrats to get rid of Trump that first year.
