Video emerged today of an armed man pulling his weapon to ward off two apparent attackers near the Magnificent Mile, just two days after widespread mob action prompted police to arrest 21 people in the area.
The video, filmed from inside McDonald's at 10 East Chicago, shows two males attacking a middle-aged man who appears to be a security guard. The man is slammed against the restaurant’s outside wall by the pair who punch and grapple the older man as he works to free himself.

But one day soon some of these “teens” rampaging in that area will catch bullets from honest citizens legally carrying firearms. Contrary to popular belief around here Chicago is most definitely NOT a Gun Free Zone.
The permitting process here is relatively straightforward, although I consider the fees for it to be outrageous. No Guns signs are actually pretty rare even in the City.
In my opinion this guy showed admirable restraint. Had he fired his weapon he would no doubt be one of the few shooters Foxx would actually prosecute.

Guy showed an amazing amount of restraint considering what he’d just been through.
Luckily the two perps won’t learn anything from this and will assume room temperature in the not too distant future.
He was justified to plug the thugs when they attacked, but he was wise to restrain himself when they retreated.
Notice how the asshole patrons in the restaraunt didnt utter a sound until the white guy pulled his gun. Then it was NO, NO. They were ok with the white dude getting the shit kicked out of him until he turned the table on the thugs.

Indeed he did. What I found interesting is that no one in the McDonalds made a sound when the attack started. The freak out came when the gun was drawn.
For the record that area is very well to do. It’s packed with tourists and shoppers every day of the week and is some of the most expensive real estate in the City. The businesses in that area pay big money in taxes and are going to get fed up with this crap and demand action.
Whether or not they get it is an open question.
One thing is for sure. It’s gonna be a long hot summer in ChiTown.

I expected this to be at night. Nope. Right in broad daylight.
He should have plugged them when he had a chance. Now they will be out in no time robbing, killing, etc. And it could have been sent to judgement day.
