Mueller Report Likely to Renew Scrutiny of Steele Dossier

The dossier began as part of a conventional opposition research operation by a small Washington firm, Fusion GPS. During the early part of the campaign, Fusion was paid by The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative publication funded by the billionaire Paul Singer, to scrutinize Mr. Trump, with the evident goal of uncovering dirt to help his Republican primary opponents.

After Mr. Trump emerged as the likely nominee, Fusion kept working but turned to a new source of funding: the law firm representing the Clinton campaign, Perkins Coie. Noticing in May 2016 the Trump campaign’s unexpected affinity for Russia, Fusion hired Mr. Steele, a veteran of Britain’s MI6 intelligence agency, to dig deeper. Mr. Steele has told acquaintances that he did not know the ultimate client was the Clinton campaign.

Former F.B.I. and Central Intelligence Agency officers who knew him respected Mr. Steele, who had served in Moscow before leading the Russia desk at MI6’s headquarters. After leaving government service, he had helped the F.B.I. with an investigation of FIFA, the international governing body of soccer, and with other matters involving Russia.

Mr. Steele, who co-owns a private intelligence firm in London, Orbis Business Intelligence, reached out to sources he had relied on in past Russia-related investigations. Between June and December 2016, he sent Fusion at least 17 reports, ranging from one to three pages, describing raw, unconfirmed information on a wide range of alleged connections between Mr. Trump, his aides and Russian operatives.

I suspect it would be too much to say we might count the days until all involved are in jail?

So now they’re shifting gears but still claiming Russian interference with the election but Trump didn’t participate in it?

Aopears to me that the Steele Dossier was Russian interference in the election, and Democrats colluded with them to interfere.

Why is this topic never approached from that obvious angle? Never mind, I know the answer, but it’s patently obvious.

I recall Trump saying it would be in out interest to work with Russia on issues like terrorism. That’s hardly an affinity.

If the Presstitutes and the DNC allow you to prosecute FBI and DOJ players, then it is only a matter of time before Hussein Obama is named as the man behind the curtain who was pulling all the strings

None of this would have happened without Obama pushing the $hit with a stick.

Lisa Page told Strzok POTUS wanted to know everything.

They will shoot Trump before they allow Hussein to be arrested.

Says something about MI6, and it's not good.

Wonder when in 2016 he hired Baumgartner:

2016 : (FUSION GPS’ GLENN SIMPSON [see HILLARY CLINTON CONTRACT, PREVEZON, CHRIS STEELE] HIRES EDWARD BAUMGARTNER [PREVEZON] TO DO THE WORK FOR HILLARY CLINTON) In 2016, Simpson hired Edward Baumgartner, an ex-journalist who shares his disdain for Trump, to work on the Hillary [Clinton] contract. Baumgartner says he has a masters degree in Russian and specializes in consulting “in the former Soviet Union,” where he has offices. Baumgartner had been working alongside Simpson as a Russian translator for a New York law firm defending a Russian holding company, Prevezon...—— -—— Sperry was on to him [ Baumgartner] in Jan - this was a good piece: 18 Jan: NY Post: Paul Sperry: Did Putin’s pawns help assemble the Trump-smearing dossier?

Actually what I think they noticed in May 2016 was Gen. Flynn’s book “Field of Fight” an its revelations about the documents about Iran and Iran WMD that were captured in the 2011 raid on bin Laden but subsequently sequestered by the Obama admin to keep the material from becoming a problem in the Iran Deal Kerry was working on. Notice the first guy they too out after Trump’s election was Flynn.

And in May, Obama’s White House became very concerned about revelation that it lied its butt off on Iran Deal in 2013

MAY 2016 : (- See 2013 EDITED STATE DEPT VIDEO, IRAN DEAL) The director of State Department press relations told reporters Tuesday that a glitch was likely responsible for the mysterious disappearance of a portion of video from a press briefing in 2013 that reportedly shows the Obama administration deceiving the media and public to sell the Iran nuclear deal. Elizabeth Trudeau was responding to a story that Fox News’ James Rosen reported the night before on how the administration had campaigned extensively to deceive the media and the American people about key aspects of the Iran agreement. In his report, Rosen said he just learned that video from the State Department’s... —— State Dept.: Missing Video Potentially Showing Iran Deal Deception Was a ‘Glitch’, Free Beacon ^ | 5/10/16 | Aaron Kliegman

UPDATE: “Glitch”; After Obama Administration Caught Lying About Iran Deal, Townhall.com ^ | May 10, 2016 | Katie Pavlich
In case you missed it over the weekend, National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes admitted in a lengthy New York Times Magazine profile that the Obama administration used the media to manipulate and lie to the American people about the nuclear deal with Iran. Here is one of the lies pushed by the administration, which David Reaboi highlighted yesterday at The Federalist. First, the lies and the denials about the negotiations. It took months before a few dogged journalists started to ask questions about the talks Obama officials were engaged in with Ahmadinejad’s regime. In February 2013, then-State Department Spokesperson Victoria Nuland...

The State Department cut a section of a daily briefing video from December 2013 in which Department spokesperson Jen Psaki admitted her predecessor had misled a reporter about the administration having direct negotiations with Iran. The missing minutes of video were removed from both the You Tube upload of the 2013 briefing and the version of the video which is kept on the State Department website, though the transcript of the briefing was not altered. When asked about the deletion the State Department could not explain it nor could they point to any other daily briefing which had been edited...

Edited State Dept. video hides key admission on Iran nuke
Washington Examiner ^ | 5/9/16 | Pete Kasperowicz
A State Department video has been altered in what could be an attempt to hide a 2013 discussion with reporters about whether the Obama administration lied about when it first began the Iran nuclear talks. Fox News reporter James Rosen reported Monday night that a section of a Dec. 2, 2013 press briefing was somehow erased from the State Department’s own video of the event. In the section that was erased, Rosen was interviewing then-spokeswoman Jen Psaki about when the talks started.

Tablet Magazine identified the rumors in the dossier as coming from Glenn Simpson and wife when they worked for the Wall Street Journal and Trump was a New York developer with rivals, not concerning politics directly. Those rumors are what the Free Beacon bought.

Steele was a cover story so a FISA warrant could be obtained because the same info was ‘foreign intelligence sourced’.

Once they spied, the Coup spun normal Russian outreach that’s done to ALL top pols in the US a s something unique to the Trump campaign.

‘I recall Trump saying it would be in out interest to work with Russia on issues like terrorism. That’s hardly an affinity.’

Trump was also questioning whether it was a good idea for us to be in Syria, uninvited, supporting the terrorists there and risking WW3 with the Russians just around the block.

All I can say is that if this standard was applied to the other side, 90% or more of DEMOCRAT leaders would have been in jail, rather than holding office, based on what they did and said about the Soviets during the Cold War and how they’re still colluding with our enemies, such as John Kerry undercutting Trump on Iran.

The bottom line is whether we, as a country, are willing to support political tactics that make African Potentates blush with embarrassment. The Democrats, obviously, see no problem with that, as long as they’re doing the spying. Sickening.

More BS from the slimes. They know the Deep State, all the way up to Bammy, is in deep sh!t. They are getting ahead of the news and framing it such that the truth does as little damage as possible.
