Someone is making a shit pot of money off of mailings and robo calls! Use that money to support the right candidates already and to bring law suits.
Term limits no different here...becoming fat, dumb, lazy...becoming king. Time to go.
With the recent lawsuits against the PR company, that makes some sense.
I wonder if an audit was done, and mismanagement was found.

About five years ago my husband was going over our budget and finances and said, “We have to talk about how much you’re spending on clothes.” I looked surprised. He said, “Last year you spent $47 on clothes. We can afford to spend more!”
Well, I’m retired so don’t need as much as I used to, I HATE shopping, and when I do shop I have no problem with thrift shops (which he hates). I couldn’t spend $200K if I tried.

I had a short gig at a federal alphabet farm, yadda yadda, and we had a room all to itself with a mil-spec, govt approved industrial paper shredder the size of a small car, yadda yadda and I hung up an official looking framed 8x10 of lieutenant colonel North. It was the only thing hanging on the walls in the tiny room that was used by over a hundred different people a day. It stayed up for over a month then disappeared as mysteriously as it showed up.

President Trump spoke to the NRA today and the audience welcomed him enthusiastically. President Trump thanked Oliver North and said, “I’ve known him for a long time.” Thus, North gets support from the President. Both Wayne and Oliver needs to step down and allow new leaders to lead.
LaPierre does a grand job as the "face of the NRA" but I'm certain, like lots of Exec. Directors, assumes lots of "perks" of the job and begins to believe their own press releases.
The organization belongs to it's members not to the Exec. Director(s) whomever they may happen to be.
I can see this $200,000 figure getting blown out of proportion. Maybe is was over the last 15 yrs. Maybe it was for expenses over a few years and wardrobe was just a small part? PR battles among orgs like this can be pretty deceiving.
Astonishing, but LaPierre seems to have beaten North, who is on his way out.
