Barr exposed the rampant desperation of Trump’s foes
nyPOST ^ | 5/1/2019 | MICHAEL GOODWIN

They smeared him, called him a liar and said he should resign. The same Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee who tried to assassinate the character of Judge Brett Kavanaugh last year pulled the same stunt on Bill Barr — with the same result.

They failed because, once again, they were throwing mud while shooting blanks.

Despite the Dems’ desperate efforts to derail Kavanaugh’s nomination with false accusations, he is now on the Supreme Court. Barr was obviously prepared for his mud bath and was unflappable in the face of Wednesday’s mean-spirited assault, proving himself to be a rock-solid attorney general.

As he said at his confirmation hearing, “I won’t be bullied,” and he wasn’t.

On one level, the hearing on the report of special counsel Robert Mueller was predictable in its partisan divide. Republicans wanted to emphasize Mueller’s findings that no American, including those in President Trump’s 2016 campaign, conspired with Russia to meddle and Barr’s determination that there had been no obstruction of justice.

Democrats, as expected, tried to cloud the conclusions by suggesting there was too much smoke in the president’s actions for there not to be fire somewhere. The best hope they had was a letter from Mueller telling Barr he was unhappy with the AG’s initial four-page letter on the report’s conclusions, saying it “did not fully capture” the scope of the entire 450-page report.

So what? They have the full report now. What difference does a 4 page summarization from a month ago matter? They are clutching at anything to try to tie Trump to the collusion/obstruction lie.

Imagine if the democrats didn’t have the full support from the US State Media . . . Imagine if the republicans played as viscous and scorched earth as the democrats do . . .

Ooh, this one was good. Thanks for posting.

Their threats of impeachment are hollow and their resistance movement is breaking into factions about how much socialism they should offer to voters in 2020.

And those factions are exercising even more vicious frenzy against one another than they did toward Trump, and that's saying something. Major parts of the mainstream media have been reduced to incoherent shrieking. In short, it's been a pretty good day.

And now, at long last, the riposte. That sort of thing has to be carefully timed to strike home, and a lot of us have been frustrated and impatient waiting for it to come. The Dems have used every dirty trick in the book to time their own efforts out to maximize their effect on the elections, with, let's be honest, more success in '18 than I'd hoped. Now, 18 months before the next Presidential election, the pendulum is swinging inexorably to the other side. They don't have anyone to blame for it but themselves.

It’s one thing to read about everything that has gone on with respect to the Trump Presidency. It’s another thing, for someone like Barr, who is still in the mix to go to lunch, dinner, or a BBQ and talk to folks about everything that has gone on with respect to the Trump Presidency. It’s a completely different animal to be “Boots On The Ground” in the Trump Presidency and seeing it with your own eyes.

Barr was asked, nominated and confirmed to become a very significant part of the Trump Presidency. Perhaps one of the most significant, given what has been going on since the summer of 2016.

We’ve learned that Adm Rogers found out about all of this criminal activity, went to the FISC and put an end to it. He also alerted then Candidate Trump/President Elect Trump of what was going on. And if all of that turns out to be the God’s Honest Truth, then they guy deserves the Medal of Honor, IMHO.

But, now that Barr is in the mix and after what he’s already experienced, went through yesterday and the what he will go through in the days, weeks and months to come, no matter what his motives for accepting the job, I pray to the Lord that he has only one thing on his mind, right now.

And that is, to take EACH AND EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY ONE OF THEM DOWN. To show absolutely no mercy, whatsoever. And if that happens and he’s asked why, a very simple answer needs to be given....They’ve been doing stuff like this for years. They’ve ruined peoples lives out of their lust for money, power and position. They’ve destroyed careers just because they could. This is what they tried to do to the President of the United States of America. What would they do to you? ....... mic drop!!

I wish Mr. Barr would pull a Mr. Trump. Simply, clearly, slyly, mockingly, tell these a-holes to take a @#!& (hike?).

Mr. Blumenthal, “ I recollect that you falsely claimed to be a Vietnam vet.! Now, what was your lame, partisan, stupid question?’

To the tune of “When you walk through a storm”

When Barr talks with the Dems
Telling lie after lie
Hoping he gets tripped up by their snark

At the end of this storm
He can press them on why
This witch hunt began on a lark

He talked through their spin
He showed no signs of pain
As their BS got tossed and blown

Talk on, talk on
When the SpyGate probe starts
You will never talk alone!

The essential problem for the Democrats remains what it was the instant the Muller Report was released: they must convince the American people that it was wrong for the president to protest being framed for a crime he did not commit.

They must convince the American people that it was the President's duty, indeed his only moral choice, to remain passive in the face of the criminalization of the American justice system of which he was the Chief Law Enforcement Officer.

They must convince the American people that Trump is guilty because he did what virtually every one of us would have done to protect ourselves.

They must convince the American people that Trump should be impeached for obstructing his own exoneration.

The Democrats are absolutely terrified at what is now coming their way. Expect them to become more unhinged everyday. It is going to be delicious.

They are desperate. Their desperation is made obvious by their most recent rash actions.

They know the good guys have them by their balls ... and that includes their "women".

Barr is doing his job, so they are desperately trying to destroy his credibility.

Notice how quickly they jumped when Barr mentioned that during the same span of time, Hillary Clinton was having contact with Russians by the law of average.
