Sen. Mitt Romney wants special counsel Robert Mueller to testify before Congress, breaking with fellow Republicans who want to move on after Mueller delivered his report that found attempts by President Donald Trump to derail the investigation but didn’t seek charges against him for obstruction of justice.
“I’d like to hear from Mr. Mueller; I think a lot of people would like to hear his perspective on the report he put out and the conclusions he reached,” Romney told reporters at the Capitol on Thursday.
The Utah Republican, who had said he was “sickened” by Mueller’s findings about the president and his team, wasn’t sure what form such a hearing with the special counsel would entail but that it was important for the public to hear directly from the lead investigator.
“I don’t know what the right process is for us to be able to hear from him," Romney said, “but I think a lot of us would like to hear his take.”

The sole purpose of this ‘demand’ (imho) that Mueller go in front of the House, is to allow him to drop seeds of doubt into the review of the report. He’ll be asked ‘leading’ questions such as ‘did you agree with AG Barr’s summation? When Mueller says no, there will be lengthy discussion regarding Barr’s ‘decision’ and enough doubt will be insinuated that it will fuel this madness indefinitely.
So Mueller can’t write.
Mitt, did you read the underacted report? Oh as of yesterday , NO!. Read the entire report before you ask to speak to Mueller. Oh, I don’t think Trump allows and Barr either Mueller to talk to anyone. Mueller probably doesn’t want to speak under oath either. Perjury traps work both ways

This is just plain laziness that he hasn’t read the report. There are no Cliff Notes, just 400 pages. Someone can’t take the exam for Romney. He just doesn’t get it.

Which is why Mr.McGahn as instructed by his former boss, the President (more precisely the DOJ presidential apparat) will order him NOT to speak to the Congress, under the proviso that ANYTHING he would be asked to speak on— would be under Executive Privilege (and under orders thus) not to be discussed, leaked or anything else.
So, unless- as in the case of John Dean (nixon’s Mcgahn/counsel) unless the dhims have nasty stuff on McGahn (which is always possible under the deep state “collections” made for just this occasion- which can also be “declassified and exposed”) as blackmail, he will not testify, even under threat.
I have wondered for along time what the marx-o-crat party has on romney so as to blackmail him.
Romneybot has ACCESS granted to him for the unredacted Mueller report-— Question: has he gone to LOOK at this? No? Then he should shut the hell up— nothing could be asked in public Senate forum (and Mueller is NOT allowed under the LAW to go, at this point into closed door hearings for their political needs— something very frustrating to him, am sure), that Mueller could even talk about. Maybe the weather.
