Air rifle / pistol competitions at the HS level would be a great way to get the gun clubs back into the HS level.

Until abortion is illegal in all 50 states, I wouldn’t mind seeing federal funding to promote Constitutionally enumerated and protected rights such as gun ownership. If nothing else it would be useful in causing liberal heads to explode.

How about money allocated to states to use for gun safety training, including lots of time at the gun range? Cover the cost of the range time, ammunition, and even gun rental if needed. Cover the cost of concealed carry training and licensure. Insurance for all? How about insurance to cover bail/bond and legal expenses if you’re ever forced to lawfully use your gun?

Of course I’d prefer the federal government be much more limited in their scope and mission. I’d rather reduce government spending. But if the feds are going to waste money, how about doing it on something useful.

I totally agree. And the NRA never publicizes the program.

Most of these "experts" don't know the difference between a bullet and a cartridge, a clip and a magazine... all pistols are Glocks, and every rifle is an assault rifle.

Who are dumber: the media or democrats?

"This is Texas,ya’ll. (Just don’t shoot over the road.)"

That's how I learned to drive. The Old Man would sit in the passenger's seat, with a .22-250 Browning Hi-wall between his legs, and I'd be practicing staying between the ditches in a 3-on-the-tree station wagon, on the section-line gravel roads.
He'd say stop, and I would, the rifle would go out the window and a crow would explode, out to 200 yards, in a corn field, and I would start doing the clutch-gas steer thing.
Crows are smart, but they weren't expecting incoming fire from the road.

And this was in Illinois...

Good times...

PASS the Hearing Protection Act...and subsidize the purchase of sound suppressors.

My range could not csre less in regards to my attendance. The only discussion is “ here’s your target, police your brass.”

I prefer my scotch straight up, unless it is a particularly peety scotch then I will toss in an ice cube or two.
