Here's a story published 32 minutes ago that seems to say the exact opposite:

Both Rosenstein and Comey are snakes.
I would prefer these deep state characters not soil themselveves via public discourse. Better quietly to charge, arrest, prosecute, and exercise jutice in dispassionate, summary form.
That has been alluded to that the Trump campaign was not the only one that was being spied upon. I bet AG Barr has a full plate of investigations going on.
Comey needs to be strung up by the judiciary. Make him bleed. Waste all his money and turn his family out into the streets like his bullshit “leak” did for so many patriots.
Rod knows which way the wind is blowing. That’s why he was kept around so long.
The sooner Comey is in prison the better off this country will be.
We need to bring back forced labor prisons like Russia has where we send the truly disgusting criminals like Comey, McCain, Waters, Omar, Tlaib, and such.

Here’s my take - Rosenstein was straddling the fence, until he was able to figure out which way to go, in order to keep out of jail. Clearly, he was part of the spying and coup attempt - however, he then worked his way into a very key position and with that came options - which isn’t the case for the rest of the conspiracy leaders [starting with Comey, Brennan, and Clapper].
Remember the indictments against the Russians - When Rosenstein announced them, he went way out of his way to say that Trump and his campaign had nothing to do with it. Why do that - it certainly wasn’t required, nor was he required to answer questions to that effect.
Answer - he was leaving his options open. There was no way he could stop Mueller, but he could clear Trump, at least in that case, and he did.
On the other hand, he could have told Mueller to pack it up over a year ago...but did not. The reason - he wasn’t sure that Trump would survive, so he played it safe and let Mueller continue his witch hunt.
But now with a boss who means business, he knows that very soon the Deep State will FINALLY be exposed by the IGs. His only choice is to side with the IGs in hope of getting off relatively light.
In the end, he’s played it very smart, given his limited options once Hillary lost.
Is Rosenstein going to sing?
He is in the cabal
They’ll leave Bernie alone for now. He’s too entertaining and disruptive.
I will forgive Rod his transgressions against Trump, if he helps Barr put Comey, Brennan, McCabe, Clapper, Lynch et al into jail.
Comey is an old Clinton crony all the way back to Arkansas days...
I am shocked and pleased that he said, in a clear phrase,
“there was no obstruction.”

All these appearances Comey is making will help pay for his attorney fees.
