DiGenova: ‘For the first time I actually believe’ people will go to jail over ‘Spygate’
The National Sentinel ^ | 5/15/19 | Jon Dougherty

Former federal prosecutor Joe diGenova, long an advocate for justice to be done over the Obama-era “Spygate” scandal aimed at deposing POTUS Donald Trump said Tuesday night that for the “first time” he actually believes at least some of the co-conspirators will get some jail time.

Specifically, diGenova, who served as a federal prosecutor in the D.C. district, said that fired FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan should be lawyering up big time.

“This is very serious business,” he told Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

I’ve see my share of chin thrusts, but that one is at least 14 degrees shallow.

The woman who gave Russia a “kill switch” is arguably the biggest failure ever to live.

No way a D.C. jury will ever convict its fellow Swampers.

Barr's legal 'Snoop Dawg' has already convened a GRAND JURY in CT. The trials could be held there.

I'm rooting for every sonofacamel to go to jail, and I'll settle for a bakers dozen but Saint James has got to be one of them. He is such a weak prick, he may rat out the entire rat line {until they poison his cheese}.

Its interesting that DiGenova keeps referring to five lawyers. He must have a list of highly prosecutable charges for them.

Yep. Both of them have committed so many crimes, it will take at least five lawyers to attempt to defend them. Problem is that I doubt either of them have the money to pay for five lawyers.

With everyone else at serious risk of being prosecuted, the white collar criminal defense bar in D.C. is going to have a great next 3-5 years.

The statute of limitations for criminal conspiracies tolls until crimes are discovered. Holder’s DOJ said they didn’t commit crimes because he was part of the conspiracy.

In short, they could still be charged.

A team of five hotshot DC lawyers could cost up to $40K a day. Imagine months of paying for such a legal defense team.

Couldn’t happen to a better bunch of people.

Five lawyers wouldn’t be spending eight hours every day on just one case, but I could see their monthly bills being $100K+ every month.

Once the lawyers look at the evidence, they should tell them to agree to a plea deal, but they won’t; that advice will come when the money dries up.

I hope is is right. obama and the clintons cannot be allowed to walk free. They need to be jailed. If you cannot do so on what they did to Trump then jail them for tax evasion like how the gov’t got Capone.

“Let’s not forget Lt. Quarles Harris, Jr.”

*facepalm*

He was not a “Lt.” like he held some military rank. He was just some ghetto dude whose ghetto mom NAMED him “Lieutenant”.

“Barr’s legal ‘Snoop Dawg’ has already convened a GRAND JURY in CT. The trials could be held there.”

Not for any crimes that were committed in Washington DC.

Yeah, it’s a pretty good bet that he was shot by his fellow criminals after they found out he was ratting on the rest of the people in his identity theft ring to the police.

yep downtown DC is not a good place to be after dark for anyone! You’re asking for trouble if you make a habit of it.

I could see their monthly bills being $100K+ every month.

*************

That might be conservative. Given the number of people involved in this plot, the sheer volume of communications material, and magnitude of potential conflicting facts/information the legal team is going to be very busy for every one of the participants. Comey is wealthy so he can afford it. Not sure about Brennan, Clapper and the numerous others who will be implicated in various aspects of the plot. Its going to potentially be a large field of defendants.
